Copper bonded flat steel is a kind of composite metal conductor made of copper and flat steel through electroplating method, is mainly used for grounding protection in horizontal grounding electrode or equipment in grounding system. Copper thickness is from 0.15 mm to 0.25 mm,with the longest of 6 m per piece.
Four-dimensional continuous electroplating method uses domestic initiative nano-alkaline copper pre-plating technology. Its principle is to accurately control the density and deposition rate of the nanosized particle clusters formed by the complexes and CU2+in the plating solution,and buikd up a new nano-sized particle deposition model between copper and steel, with cathode metal deposition forming into nano-sized alkaline copper crystal particle layer structure.The nanoscale crystal particle layer has good density and highly activated surface, which greatly enhances the affinity between the plating layers, enabbling the product binding force to achieve the best standard. Finished products have excellent mechanical strength,ductility and corrosion resistance.
Copper Bonded Steel Grounding Cable
Traditionally, zinc bonded steel and copper are the two main grounding materials in lightning & grounding conductors. Copper has better conductivity and service life than zinc bonded steel while is more expensive than it. The copper bonded steel material has not only good conductivity as copper but also has good strength as steel. Moreover, it can greatly save the project cost. Copper bonded steel is produced in our factory by electroplating process according to GB/12970.2-2009 Flexible Copper Stranded Conductors for Electrical Purposes - Part 2: Flexible Copper Stranded Conductors.
