Exothermic Welding by aluminothermic reaction generated by high temperature to make metal molten completely, to achieve high quality welding effect. This reaction is conducted in the graphite mold of high temperature resistance, normally a graphite mold could be used for 70 points. Exothermic reaction process takes a few seconds only:

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
Large Current Load Capacity
It has good electrical conductivity with the current-carrying capacity of the fusion splices equivalent to that of the conductor. After detection, the DC resistance change rate before and after the deep decomposition is close to zero. This advantage is incomparable with the traditional connection method.
Good Mechanical Properties
Since it is a melt joint, the connection between the joint and conductor is a molecular bond and is a permanent joint.
Stable Impulse Resistance
Tests have shown that the conductor melts prior to the melt welded joint under short-term high current impulse and is therefore not damaged by surge resistance.
Strong Corrosion Resistance
Since it is a melt joint without exposed surface and residual stress, which is covered by fine copper, it can greatly increase the corrosion resistance of the conductor.

OPERATING PROCEDURES
Step1. Dry mold to remove moisture
Step2. Dry the material to be welded to remove water and oil
Step3. Put the material to be welded into the mold and clamp the mold
Step4. Put the spacer gasket and seal the guide channel
Step5. Put the welding powder into the mold,cover the welding powder with ignition powder with a little amount left at the mold gate.
Step6. Ignite the ignition powder with an igniter. During the process, the operator must stand on the side of the mold gate
Step7. Open the mold after 20 seconds and remove the residue from the surface of the welding spot
Step8. Clean the mold to proceed with the next welding spot operation
